As part of our commitment to the environment, the Doubletree is working to reduce our carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in our everyday operation. We've eliminated our airport shuttle in favor of the door-to-door MAX light rail to the Portland International Airport, and we are retrofitting our lighting and temperature control systems to generate less waste.
Most importantly, we want our guests to be able to offset their own personal carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Using this Carbon Calculator, you can determine the amount of carbon dioxide your travels are creating. It will then calculate the dollar amount needed to offset your emissions. Your offset dollars will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions in Portland through our partnership with The Climate Trust.
